Orbital Cold Forming or forging is a metal forming process during which a malleable billet is transformed between a lower and upper die into a component with Near Net Shape characteristic.

The process features the orbiting upper die. Due to this orbiting motion over the workpiece, the resultant localized forces can achieve a high degree of deformation at a relatively low force level.
